About
I’m a self-taught photographer and I love capturing images of the world around me and strive to make my photographs unique, imaginative, surprising, inspirational and more.
I began capturing photographs in 1966, shooting with a Zeiss Ikon Box Tengor camera on 120 film. When I had saved enough money, I bought my first SLR, an Exakta VX2 with a waist level viewfinder. Later upgrading to a Canon FTb, I found myself moving away from photography and into technology during a 6 year stint in the U.S. Navy.
Life has a way of coming full circle. With my background in technology and engineering, I designed and patented a high-speed digital imaging system for Coors brewing company that photographed tiny defects in aluminum sheet travelling over 400 feet per minute. With the advent of digital photography and the technical requirements it demands, I find that my original love of the photograph has come back to claim my heart once again.
I now own my own studio and shoot full-time exclusively with Nikon Equipment.
My studio is located near Brighton, Co., about 25 miles northeast of Denver, Colorado.
